Food meets Fashion at Roppongi Bar and Restaurant in La Jolla.

Roppongi Sushi Bar and Restaurant kicks off some sizzling summer days with a partnership with Fashion Week San Diego to host their 2nd annual bikini fashion show.

On Wednesday, May 22nd from 6-8:30pm, the tunes will be grooving with DJ Who of Sleeping Giant Music with emcee Allison Andrews of Fashion Week San Diego.  Attendees can preview amazing accessories and new bikini designs from FWSD designers such as: Dos Caras Swimwear, Greenpacha, Laced with B, Love, Charles, Mahogany Blues, RHCREATION, and Yuwei Designs.

The bikini fashion show is one of many stylish La Jolla summer parties to come at Roppongi Sushi Bar and Restaurant.  Other exciting upcoming news is a kick off to summer event in late June or early July where their outdoor fire pit area is transformed into the new night time party scene with live music and drink specials every Thursday.

A fun “Hats Off To Opening Day” will be held on July 7th from 10am-3pm for a special brunch menu with signature cocktails.  The Fashion Week San Diego designers Greenpacha and Yuwei will be featuring their exquisite creations.  All of the guests who will be dining at Roppongi Sushi Bar and Restaurant during that brunch will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a jewelry piece by Yuwei, a hat by Greenpacha, a dining gift card for Roppongi Sushi Bar and Restaurant, and two general admission tickets to Fashion Week San Diego.

With a partnership with FWSD, creative summer events, freshly hired Chef McDonald handcrafting exciting dishes, and new General Manger Ron Fabor, Roppongi Sushi Bar and Restaurant is making a fashionable splash on the La Jolla social scene.
